The cross vaulted ceiling – an architectural gem

Who has the luck to call a complete cross vaulted ceiling in a city apartment his own? An eccentric architect built this gem around 1913 for himself and his family. From the outside, the house with its inconspicuous façade looks like all the other townhouses in the neighbourhood, but when you enter the apartment, an opulent scenery from the Visconti movie “Ludwig II” opens up: A dark green cross vaulted ceiling, a historic stove, chinoiserie furniture and quirky antiques catch the eye.
